everything i’ve seen and heard from it so far is so fuckin’ ace and boss, and i cannot wait to see the show live. i’d thought i should try my best to avoid as much of the show as possible to not spoil the experience of seeing it live in october, but between facebook and tumblr (especially tumblr), that’s pretty much an impossibility. so i figure what the fuck - from now till october, i’ll watch bootlegs of certain songs while altogether saving other, most special songs for the actual show. this was so much easier last time around, four years ago, with the ‘sticky and sweet tour.’ i was living in a shit place and i was flat broke and i couldn’t so much as afford internet on my phone, much less at home. so i was completely shut out from all internet tour spoilers. and thank god for it - ‘cause the show was truly the most magical night of my life. i cried during “vogue,” “into the groove,” “you must love me” and, of course, the majestic “like a prayer.” i have a memory of my mother visting me and scolding me, saying, “how did you afford a three-hundred dollar concert ticket when you can’t even pay yer bills?” i said, “woman, don’t remind me; i wanted the fuckin’ nine-hundred dollar ticket.” she said, “but how did you get the money?” i said, “don’t you worry ‘bout that. where there’s a witch there’s a way.” boys and girly-boys, if you need to know anything at all about remi de lino, it is this: NOTHING comes between me and my madonna show - nothing. who else is attending the mdna show in houston, texas on october 24th? hit me up. maybe yer the one i’ve been waiting for. -r
